Page One

music page 1 elements

1. Info Sidebar

  • Memindia Publication Information
  • Media Identification (i.e. title, artist, stars, creator, etc.)
  • Media Information (slightly different for each media)
  • Key Information (quotes, lyrics, website elements, etc.)


2. Media Description
A short background on the media.

3. Faith Connection
A short essay reflecting on the bridge between a tenet of the Catholic faith and the media in question.


Page Two

1. Quick Quotes
Scripture and Catechism references that connect to the theme of the Memindia.

2. Discussion Questions
Personal reflection questions based on the issues raised in the Memindia.

3. Prayer Corner
A brief prayer or instruction to a type of prayer that connects with the theme of the Memindia.

4. Activity
Describing either a Personal Growth Challenge, Game, Dramatization, or Research Project in relationship to the theme of the Memindia. Sometimes Memindia Activities are specifically for groups to perform, but often can be done individually or in small numbers such as a family.

    In the samples, an icon to return to the website would be helpful.

  2. Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s a way to do that as when the Sample is displayed in the browser you’re actually opening the file, not viewing a website that can be coded with buttons. I will make a note on the Samples Page to warn people that to get back to the main Memindia site you’ll need to use the ‘Back’ button of your browser. You also remind me that I should also put a note on the Sample Page to indicate how to download the file to the local computer for those that might not be familiar with things like ‘right click on the link, select Save As…’ and such.
